Logan Sabourin didn’t tell his best friend Ryan what he had planned. It was a surprise for his birthday and as much as it pained Logan to not be able to give his friend what Logan himself wanted, he could damn well make sure Ryan got something special for his birthday present. So Logan reached out to a secretive company that brought likeminded people together, and Cassidy came into their orbit. Logan might crave Ryan’s touch, but he wasn’t prepared to cross that line and possibly ruin the relationship with his only best friend in the world. Until Ryan insists and Logan’s resolve crumbles.
This is an intense read, highly erotic and probably not for every readers tastes. The relationship between Logan and Ryan is strong, and the connection with Cassidy despite the short time is also very strong. There are a few scenes that might be triggers for some readers, spanking (and lashing using a belt) and bondage. Personally, I found them tastefully written and enticing, but they aren’t tame and might not suit other readers. I really enjoyed the bond between the three men and even though Logan’s secret from Ryan was a little unrealistic (who can hide such a thing for years from someone they’re so close to otherwise?) it certainly progressed the story and added some delicious conflict to the scenes. I also really appreciated how Logan wasn’t some weak, spineless submissive. He’s a strong man and a complex character, and one who simply wants to submit to one Dominant, not be a “traditional” submissive. This added complexity really enriched the story for me and I found myself utterly captivated by the three men and their blossoming relationship.
All three characters are deep, complex and multi-layered. Best of all, the plot connecting them isn’t thin, but richly woven. For a short story, I felt this packed one hell of a punch. Deeply erotic, sexily kinky and with a plot of personal conflict, this is something I can strongly recommend to many of my friends and plan to do so. I’ve not heard of the author before but on the strength of this single story alone I totally plan to search out the rest of her works. If you like your kinky stories male dominated and complicated, this could well be a good one for you. Recommended.

Decent story but $3.99 is way too much to pay for a 54 page short story. Charge .99 and get a much higher rating.
This book is not like any of her Sinner's series but it still packed a punch! You'll be hooked from the beginning! A little angst but a whole lot of scorching hot sex you'll be fanning yourselves! This author has been an auto buy for me ever since I read one of her books. Do not expect this book to be as heavy as her sinner's book. This is a short story you read if you want to have a little break. It may be short but you'll still be satisfied. Anything by this author is a must read!
Delicious, straight to the point and scorching hot. Ms. A, delivers again! You almost wish you lived in her mind so that you can see what's coming next. In just a few short sentences, she gets your attention with the sex scenes, (or the upcoming sex), but she also manages to emotionally ensnare you so your feelings are somehow entangled with the characters. Good stuff!
